I am able to provide counselling/psychotherapy for those struggling with anger. My core approach is based on a cognitive behavioural approach to understanding and managing anger. I do use a range of clinical strategies in response to what appears to be most empowering in helping those I work with to better manage their anger – and to potentially even increase their self-understanding.
In addition to my Masters’-level psychotherapy training. I have completed an additional ‘Advanced Skills Certificate in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy’ through University of Toronto which focused on the use of cognitive-behaviour therapy in the treatment of anxiety, depression and anger. I further developed my skills and knowledge in working with those struggling with anxiety during my 5 years at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto and have continued to provide counselling/psychotherapy for those struggling with anxiety as part of my private practice for the past 5 years.
